Kangana Ranaut on Sushant Singh Rajput's demise

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has come down heavily on the Bollywood film industry and the media for the poor handling of actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s tragic demise.

In a fiery public service announcement made on her official fan-handle, the actress came out strongly against the Bollywood film industry for not giving the actor his dues. She also slammed the media for projecting the actor’s “weak mind” as the reason for his death by suicide.

She posted a video on instagram stating “If celebrities are struggling with personal and mental health issues, the media should try and emphasize with them, rather than making it difficult for them,”.

Vehemently slamming derogatory reports about the actor, Kangana pointed out that Sushant was a rank holder and asked how he could have a “weak mind”. Taking reference from a viral post of the star pleading with people to watch his movies as he “didn’t have a godfather” in the industry, Kangana also said that despite his great lineup of films, he didn’t receive any acknowledgement or awards, unlike the other star-kids of the industry.

Calling out the many rumour mongers and “paid journalist” who wrote pieces alleging he was “psychotic, neurotic and an addict,” Kangana said, “Sanjay Dutt ke addiction ko aap log bahut cute lagte hai.”

She also went on to claim that she has been receiving messages from people stating that she is in a very ‘difficult time’ and advising her not to take any such drastic step.

She ended her video saying that Sushant’s only fault was in believing those people who told him he was “worthless” and forgot his mother’s words to him.

Maharashtra HM Anil Deshmukh says ‘professional rivalry’ angle behind Sushant Singh Rajput’s death will be probed

Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh said on Monday that the Mumbai Police will probe into the alleged cause of ‘clinical depression owing to the professional rivalry’ behind the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

“While the post mortem report says actor @itsSSR committed suicide by hanging himself, there are media reports that he allegedly suffered from clinical depression because of professional rivalry. @MumbaiPolice will probe this angle too,” Deshmukh tweeted.
